The United Midnight Alliance, aka UMA, is the oldest MidnightWiki Political party, established shortly after MidnightWiki came into fruition by Ott0. The UMA currently holds absolute power over MidnightWiki through Ott0, who has strong ties to Admin, who has complete control of the site. There is no current foreseable threat to the power of the UMA.

Mascot and Symbol

Uma Thurman is the official mascot of the UMA, while the chinese dragon (affectionately nicknamed Chinesey) is the official symbol. These two figures form a dynamic and yet partially inflexible power structure (Uma on top) which epitomizes communication, trust, friendship, and courage: the four guiding principals of the UMA.

A sample interaction between Uma and the dragon: Uma stands in front of a political target and diverts attention. Chinesey sneaks up from behind and burns with fire breath. Uma then attacks with sword, slices out intestines, and feeds to Chinesey.

Personel

• Ott0 and Zarkov Atreas are vice chancellors.

Divergent Philosophies

Members maintain a tight bond despite their differing and potentially factionalizing views of reality. Zarkov heads up the Reality is Perception camp, while ott0 believes in an Ultimate Truth. There is further division on the subject of whether or not to ban  Conservative Joe.

However, the differing and often contrasting philosophies of UMA's leadership serve only to reinforce enrich the idealogy of UMA as a whole.

Also, ott0 thinks Matisyahu is related to the UMA, but Zarkov disagrees.

Fencing

Occasionally, either Zarkov or ott0 will attempt to preempt the other and take complete control over UMA. In such cases an ad hoc fencing competition is held to determine whether a beurocratic reorganization is in order. Zarkov and ott0 have fenced for this purpose on two previous occasions, although both have resulted in stalemates. After several hours of intense jibjabbing, ott0 and Zarkov became too thirsty to continue and agreed on mutual forfeit. Until one of the vice chancellors suceeds in killing the other in such a duel, the current shared-leadership system will remain in place.
